Hartford
Armory's 1875 & 1890 pistols have one-piece frames, where
the handgrip is actually part of the frame forging.
More ergonomically correct than either the Colt or the
Smith & Wesson of the era, they present "on
target" more naturally, yielding superior "pointability".
Simply put, sight acquisition is quicker. These Remington
type frames are more rigid than other 19th century revolvers so they
are inherently more durable and more accurate. That is
why, alone among the true 19th century guns,
Hartford Armory's 1875 and 1890s can be used with
modern hunting loads. |
